We are currently seeking high-level science teachers who specialize in teaching subjects such as kinesiology, chemistry, biology, physics, environmental science, and AP courses. Teachers who work with Pacific Preparatory take a holistic approach to our work, prioritizing social-emotional learning alongside academic achievement.
We admit students on a rolling basis all year so there is always an opportunity to add more students to your teaching load (or work with students via our after-school tutoring program Tutor Corps and our nonprofit scholarship program the Tutor Corps Foundation).
Instructors who work with us have a minimum of one year of instructional experience, hold a bachelor’s degree, have superb written and verbal communication skills, and can confidently use Zoom and online teaching tools. Teaching credentials are a bonus but not required. Experience working with students who have learning differences is an added benefit.
